Indication
Treatment of hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with losartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone.
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium 50 mg
- Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg
Direction
Usually one tablet daily, or as directed by a physician. By prescription only.
Side effects
- Possible side effects include dizziness
- headache
- fatigue
- electrolyte disturbances
- increased uric acid
- or photosensitivity. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if any unusual reaction occurs.
Precautions
- By prescription only. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant
- breastfeeding
- have kidney or liver impairment
- gout
- diabetes
- or electrolyte imbalance.
