Indication
For hypertension and congestive heart failure.
Ingredients
- Enalapril Maleate 5 mg
Direction
As directed by a physician. Usually 5-20 mg per day in 1-2 divided doses. By prescription only.
Side effects
- Possible side effects include dry cough
- dizziness
- headache
- hypotension
- hyperkalaemia
- or rarely angioedema. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if any unusual reaction occurs.
Precautions
- By prescription only. Contraindicated in pregnancy. Consult a doctor if you have kidney impairment
- history of angioedema
- or are taking potassium
- sparing diuretics.
