Amdocal Plus 50 Amlodipine 5 mg + Atenolol 50 mg

Indication

Treatment of hypertension and angina in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with amlodipine or atenolol alone.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine 5 mg (as Amlodipine Besilate)
• Atenolol 50 mg

Direction

Usually one tablet daily, or as directed by a physician. By prescription only.

Side effects

• Possible side effects include cold extremities
• fatigue
• bradycardia
• hypotension
• peripheral oedema
• headache
• dizziness
• flushing. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if any unusual reaction occurs.

Precautions

• By prescription only. Contraindicated in severe bradycardia
• second/third
• degree heart block
• severe peripheral vascular disease
• severe heart failure
• asthma. Consult a doctor if you have diabetes
• pregnancy
• breastfeeding.
