Mucogite 200 mg

Indication

Mucolytic agent for the treatment of disorders of bronchial secretion, particularly during acute bronchopulmonary conditions (productive cough, bronchitis).

Ingredients

• Acetylcysteine

Direction

Oral use. Adults and children from 7 years: 1 capsule, 3 times per day. Children aged 2 to 7 years: 1 capsule, 2 times per day. Swallow the capsules with a small amount of water.

Side effects

• May cause gastrointestinal upset (nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea)
• urticaria
• or rarely bronchospasm. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen. Always consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with gastroduodenal ulcer. Use with caution in patients with bronchial asthma. Acetylcysteine may modify the action of certain antibiotics — separate administration by at least 2 hours. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
