Indication
Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea.
Ingredients
- Loperamide hydrochloride
Direction
Adults: 2 capsules initially, then 1 capsule after each loose stool. Maximum 8 capsules per day. Or as directed by physician.
Side effects
- May cause constipation
- abdominal cramps
- nausea
- dizziness
- or drowsiness. Consult a doctor if unusual symptoms occur.
Precautions
- Do not use in children under 6 years without medical advice. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- especially if symptoms persist for more than 48 hours
- in cases of fever or bloody stools.
