Indication

Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea.

Ingredients

• Loperamide hydrochloride

Direction

Adults: 2 capsules initially, then 1 capsule after each loose stool. Maximum 8 capsules per day. Or as directed by physician.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
• abdominal cramps
• nausea
• dizziness
• or drowsiness. Consult a doctor if unusual symptoms occur.

Precautions

• Do not use in children under 6 years without medical advice. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• especially if symptoms persist for more than 48 hours
• in cases of fever or bloody stools.
