Indication
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus - Glycemic control in adults - Management of non-insulin dependent diabetes
Ingredients
- Gliclazide
Direction
Take orally once daily with breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing.
Side effects
- Hypoglycemia
- Gastrointestinal upset
- Nausea
- Skin rash
- Headache
Precautions
- Risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
- Not for Type 1 diabetes
- Severe renal or hepatic insufficiency
- Sulfonylurea or sulfonamide allergy
- Monitor blood glucose levels regularly
