Diatabs 2 mg

Indication

Symptomatic relief of acute and chronic diarrhea (antimotility).

Ingredients

• Loperamide (as Hydrochloride) 2 mg

Direction

Adults: 2 capsules initially, then 1 capsule after each loose stool. Maximum 8 capsules (16 mg) per day. Or as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
• abdominal cramps
• nausea
• dizziness
• or drowsiness. Consult a doctor if unusual symptoms occur.

Precautions

• Do not use in children without medical advice. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist for more than 2 days or are accompanied by fever or bloody stools.
