Vicks NyQuil Severe Acetaminophen 650 mg, Dextromethorphan HBr 20 mg, Doxylamine Succinate 12.5 mg, Phenylephrine HCl 10 mg per 30 mL

Indication

Temporarily relieves common cold/flu symptoms: cough, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, headache, fever, minor aches and pains, nasal and chest congestion — at nighttime.

Ingredients

• Acetaminophen
• Dextromethorphan HBr
• Doxylamine Succinate
• Phenylephrine HCl

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 30 mL at bedtime. May repeat every 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses per 24 hours. See package leaflet for full directions.

Side effects

• Causes marked drowsiness. May cause excitability
• especially in children. Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Precautions

• Liver warning: contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if more than 4 doses in 24 hours or with other acetaminophen
• containing drugs. Will cause marked drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after use. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breast
• feeding.
