Indication
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus - Insulin resistance management - Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) - Glycemic control in adults
Ingredients
- Metformin Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally with or after meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water.

- Diarrhea and abdominal pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Metallic taste in mouth
- Loss of appetite
- Long
- term Vitamin B12 deficiency
Precautions
- Risk of rare lactic acidosis
- Contraindicated in severe renal failure
- Monitor kidney function regularly
- Avoid excessive alcohol consumption
- Discontinue before radiological contrast studies
