Acyclohin 5% w/w

Indication

Antiviral cream for the topical treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin including initial and recurrent genital herpes and herpes labialis (cold sores).

Ingredients

• Aciclovir BP 5% w/w

Direction

Apply to affected area as directed by physician, typically 5 times daily at approximately 4-hour intervals for 5 to 10 days.

Side effects

• May cause transient stinging
• burning
• mild erythema
• dryness
• or itching at the application site. Consult a doctor if reactions persist.

Precautions
