- Type 2 diabetes mellitus - Glycemic control in adults - Non-insulin dependent diabetes management
Ingredients
- Gliclazide
Direction
Take orally once daily with breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing.
Side effects
- Hypoglycemia
- Nausea or indigestion
- Abdominal pain
- Skin rash or itching
- Dizziness or headache
Precautions
- Risk of hypoglycemia
- Not for type 1 diabetes
- Monitor blood glucose levels regularly
- Caution in liver or kidney disease
- Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding
