Otrivin 0.1% Nasal Spray Xylometazoline HCl 1 mg/mL (0.1%); 10 mL metered-dose bottle

Indication

Relieves nasal congestion. Effective for up to 10 hours per dose.

Ingredients

• Xylometazoline hydrochloride

Direction

Adults and children over 12: 1 spray into each nostril, up to 3 times daily. Do not use for more than 7 days.

Side effects

• May cause local burning
• dryness
• sneezing
• or rebound congestion if used too long. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.

Precautions

• Do not use for more than 7 days as rebound congestion may occur. Keep out of reach of children. Read the leaflet carefully before use.
