Indication

Antidiabetic agent indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, particularly in overweight patients, when dietary management and exercise alone do not result in adequate glycaemic control.

Ingredients

• Metformin hydrochloride 1000 mg (corresponding to 780 mg metformin base)

Direction

Oral use. As prescribed by the physician. Tablets should be swallowed whole with food.

Side effects

• Most common side effects include gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea
• diarrhoea
