Panfor SR-500 500 mg

Indication

Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, particularly in overweight patients, when dietary management and exercise alone do not result in adequate glycaemic control. Sustained-release formulation provides smoother blood-glucose control with fewer gastrointestinal side effects.

Ingredients

• Metformin Hydrochloride BP 500 mg

Direction

Swallow whole; do not chew or crush the tablet. Take with or just after meals as directed by the physician. Read the instructions carefully before use and do not exceed the prescribed dose.

• Gastrointestinal upset (nausea

• Loss of appetite
• Metallic taste
• Vitamin B12 deficiency with long
• term use
• Lactic acidosis (rare but serious)

• Use only under medical supervision. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
