Indication
- Hypercholesterolemia (High cholesterol) - Prevention of cardiovascular disease - Management of atherosclerosis - Hypertriglyceridemia treatment
Ingredients
- Rosuvastatin Calcium
Direction
Take orally once daily, at any time of day, with or without food. Tablet should be swallowed whole.
Side effects
- Myalgia (muscle pain)
- Headache
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Asthenia (weakness)
- Increased blood glucose levels
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy
- Contraindicated during breastfeeding
- Monitor liver function regularly
- Risk of skeletal muscle effects
- Avoid excessive alcohol consumption
- Caution in patients with kidney disease
