Losar-Denk 50 mg

Indication

Treatment of essential hypertension; reduction of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy; treatment of renal disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and proteinuria.

Ingredients

• Losartan potassium 50 mg

Direction

Use as directed by the physician. Usual adult starting dose 50 mg once daily; dose may be adjusted up to 100 mg once daily according to response.

Side effects

• May cause dizziness
• low blood pressure
• fatigue
• hyperkalaemia
• increased blood urea
• or upper respiratory symptoms
• consult a doctor or pharmacist if any reaction develops.

Precautions

• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
• planning pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• dehydrated
• or with renal/hepatic impairment
• severe heart failure or known hypersensitivity to losartan. Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if dizziness
• fainting
• allergic reaction or sudden swelling of the face/tongue/throat occurs.
