Indication
- Hypercholesterolemia - Hypertriglyceridemia - Mixed dyslipidemia - Reduction of elevated LDL cholesterol - Increase of HDL cholesterol
Ingredients
- Fenofibrate
Direction
Take orally once daily with a meal to improve absorption. Swallow the capsule whole with water.
Side effects
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Headache
- Elevated liver enzymes
- Muscle aches or weakness
Precautions
- Monitor liver function regularly
- Risk of muscle pain/rhabdomyolysis
- Contraindicated in severe renal impairment
- Contraindicated in gallbladder disease
- Not recommended during pregnancy
