TobraDex Tobramycin 0.3% + Dexamethasone 0.1%, 3.5 g sterile ophthalmic ointment

Indication

Sterile ophthalmic ointment combining an antibiotic and corticosteroid for the treatment of inflammatory ocular conditions with bacterial infection or risk of infection.

Ingredients

• Tobramycin
• Dexamethasone

Direction

Apply a small ribbon of ointment to the inside of the affected lower eyelid up to 3-4 times daily, or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Possible eye irritation
• burning
• raised intraocular pressure with prolonged use or temporary blurred vision. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Contains a corticosteroid — use only under medical supervision and not for prolonged periods. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• and stop and seek medical advice if irritation or allergy occurs.
