Indication
- Hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) - Prevention of cardiovascular disease - Reduction of heart attack risk - Management of high LDL levels
Ingredients
- Atorvastatin
Direction
Take orally once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Muscle or joint pain
- Headache
- Nausea or dyspepsia
- Diarrhea
- Liver enzyme elevation
Precautions
- Contraindicated in active liver disease
- Not for use during pregnancy
- Not for use during breastfeeding
- Avoid excessive grapefruit juice consumption
- Report unexplained muscle pain/weakness
