Hidrasec Paediatric 30 mg

Indication

Complementary symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea in children, in addition to oral rehydration salts and the usual supportive measures. For infants and children over 3 months of age.

Ingredients

• Racecadotril

Direction

Oral powder in unit dose sachet. Each sachet contains 30 mg of racecadotril. For oral use, to be taken as directed by the physician. In all cases of acute diarrhoea in children it is recommended to use Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS).

Side effects

• May rarely cause rash
• urticaria or angioedema. Discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if severe irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed by a physician. Always combine with adequate oral rehydration. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or worsen.
