Indication
- Hypertriglyceridemia (Type IV/V) - Lowering high cholesterol levels - Reducing coronary heart disease risk - Treatment of dyslipidemia
Ingredients
- Gemfibrozil
Direction
Take orally twice daily, usually 30 minutes before the morning and evening meals. Dosage should be adjusted based on lipid levels.
Side effects
- Dyspepsia or indigestion
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Fatigue
- Muscle pain or weakness
Precautions
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- Pre
- existing gallbladder disease
- Do not use with simvastatin
- Risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis
