Polymoxyl 250 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections due to susceptible germs: respiratory, ENT, stomatological, urogenital, gynaecological, digestive, biliary, septicaemic and endocardial infections.

Ingredients

Direction

Reconstitute by adding 45 ml of water to the bottle and shake; the bottle then contains 60 ml of suspension. Children under 30 months: 1 to 2 mg/kg/day in 3 doses 8 hours apart. Children over 30 months: 0.5 to 1 ml/kg/day in 2-3 doses (max 3 g/day). Adults: 1-2 g/day in 2-3 doses. Shake well before each use. Use reconstituted suspension within 7 days.

Precautions

• Not for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to penicillin.
