Pediaprofen 50 mg / 1.25 ml

Indication

Paediatric NSAID drops / oral suspension for the short-term symptomatic treatment of fever, common cold and flu, and mild to moderate pain in infants and children.

Ingredients

Direction

Use only with syringe measurement; give every 6-8 hours, not more than 4 times a day. Weight 8-9 kg (6-11 months): 1.25 ml; 10-15 kg (1-3 years): 2.5 ml; 16-19 kg (4-5 years): 3.75 ml; 20-29 kg (6-9 years): 5 ml; 30-39 kg (10-11 years): 7.5 ml; above 40 kg (12 years and older): 7.5-10 ml.

Side effects

• Stop use and ask a doctor if signs of intestinal bleeding
• rare but serious allergic reaction
• or severe skin reaction occur.

Precautions

• Do not use in children who suffer from blood coagulation disorders
• severe reduced renal or liver function
• or during chickenpox (Varicella).
• Do not use with another NSAID
• including COX
• 2 inhibitors such as celecoxib or etoricoxib.
• Do not use in children under 6 months unless recommended by a doctor.
