Indication
Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea in children.
Ingredients
- Loperamide hydrochloride
Direction
Children 2-8 years: 0.15 ml/kg of body weight per intake; repeat after each loose stool with a 4-hour interval. Do not exceed 5 intakes per day; usual 2-3 per day.
Side effects
- May cause constipation
- abdominal cramps or dry mouth
- consult a doctor or pharmacist if persistent.
Precautions
- Do not use without medical advice in children under 2 years.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation
- allergy or worsening of symptoms occurs.
