Loperamide P.P.M 20 mg/100 ml

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea in children.

Ingredients

• Loperamide hydrochloride

Direction

Children 2-8 years: 0.15 ml/kg of body weight per intake; repeat after each loose stool with a 4-hour interval. Do not exceed 5 intakes per day; usual 2-3 per day.

Side effects

• May cause constipation
• abdominal cramps or dry mouth

• Do not use without medical advice in children under 2 years.
