Amibazol 125 mg/5 ml

Indication

Treatment of infections due to sensitive micro-organisms including amebiasis, lambliasis and anaerobic bacterial infections.

Direction

Amebiasis (child): 1.2-1.6 ml/kg/day in 3 divided doses for 7-10 days. Lambliasis: 10 ml/day (2-5 years), 15 ml/day (5-10 years), 20 ml/day (10-15 years) in 2 divided doses for 5-7 days. Anaerobic bacterial infections (child): 0.8-1.2 ml/kg/day in 3 divided doses.

Precautions

• Complete the full course of antibiotic treatment.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding and stop if irritation or allergy develops.
