Indication
- High cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) - Prevention of heart attack - Prevention of stroke - Reducing risk of cardiovascular disease - Lowering LDL and triglycerides
Ingredients
- Atorvastatin
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily at the same time each day. It can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Muscle or joint pain
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Increased blood sugar levels
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Monitor liver function regularly
- Avoid excessive grapefruit juice consumption
- Report unexplained muscle pain immediately
- Contraindicated in active liver disease
