Clamovid BID 228 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, including upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and urinary tract infections.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) 200 mg
• Clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate) 28 mg

Direction

To reconstitute, fill half of the bottle with water. Replace cap and shake until powder is suspended. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Add more water up to the 70 ml mark and shake again. Refrigerate and use within 7 days after reconstitution. Dose as prescribed by the physician.

Side effects

• May cause gastrointestinal upset such as nausea

• Allergic reactions including skin rash can occur. Stop the medicine and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation

Precautions

• Not to be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to penicillin or beta
• lactam antibiotics.
• Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
• If allergic reaction or other adverse effects occur
