Caltoux Adult 6.65 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of dry, non-productive cough (toux sèche) in adults.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 6.65 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Adults and children from 15 years old: 10 to 20 ml every 4 to 6 hours if needed. Do not exceed a maximum daily dose of 120 mg of dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Shake well before use.

• dizziness or nausea.

Precautions

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to dextromethorphan or any other ingredient.
• Avoid in patients with chronic productive cough
• severe respiratory failure
• or asthma.
• Do not combine with other cough suppressants or sedatives without medical advice.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if cough persists for more than 5 days
• is accompanied by high fever
• rash
• or persistent headache.
