Pediacetamol 100 mg / ml

Indication

Oral drops/suspension for infants and children to relieve mild to moderate pain including headache, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, general aches and pains, to relieve symptoms of cold and flu, and to reduce a high temperature (fever).

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 100 mg per 1 ml

Direction

Use only with syringe measurement, every 4-6 hours. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Recommended dose by body weight: 3-5 kg: 0.5 ml; 5-8 kg: 0.8 ml; 8-11 kg: 1.2 ml; 11-13 kg: 1.7 ml; 13-15 kg: 2 ml; 16-19 kg: 2.4 ml; 19-22 kg: 2.8 ml; 22-24 kg: 3.4 ml; 25-29 kg: 4 ml; 29-32 kg: 4.5 ml; 32-35 kg: 5 ml. Based on 15 mg/kg body weight every 6 hours. Do not exceed 60 mg/kg/day without consulting a doctor. Shake before use.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
• Allergic reactions and skin rash may occur rarely. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation

Precautions

• Do not take with any other product containing paracetamol.
• Do not use if allergic to paracetamol or any of the ingredients.
• Consult a doctor before use if the child has kidney or liver problems.
• Not for injection. Oral use only.
