Children's Tylenol 160 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Oral suspension for children to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain including headache, aches and pains associated with the common cold, toothache, muscle pain and back pain. Cherry flavour, alcohol and aspirin free.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 160 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Shake the bottle well before use. Measure and administer using the measuring cup. Dose by body weight: 6-8 kg: 2.5 ml; 8-11 kg: 3.75 ml; 11-16 kg: 5 ml; 16-22 kg: 7.5 ml; 22-32 kg: 10 ml. Take only while pain or fever persists, up to 5 times a day, at least 4 hours between doses.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses.
• Rare allergic reactions and skin rash may occur. Stop the medicine and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation
• rash or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not take paracetamol more than as recommended on the package.
• Avoid taking combination medicines containing paracetamol at the same time.
• Consult a doctor before use if the child has liver or kidney disease
• or drinks alcohol regularly.
• Stop use and consult a doctor immediately if any allergic symptoms occur
• such as swollen face
• eyelids
• lips
• hives
• rash
• fainting
• or blister formation.
