Indication

Oral suspension for symptomatic relief of nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, and dyspepsia in children and adults. On medical prescription only.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 5 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Use as prescribed by the physician. Shake well before use. Dose typically based on body weight (0.25 to 0.5 mg/kg, 3 to 4 times daily before meals).

Side effects

• May cause dry mouth
• headache or mild gastrointestinal upset.
• Rare cardiac side effects (QT prolongation) have been reported. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation

Precautions

• On medical prescription only.
• Contraindicated in patients with prolactinoma
• gastrointestinal bleeding
• mechanical obstruction or perforation.
• Use with caution in patients with cardiac arrhythmia or electrolyte imbalance.
