Woods' Peppermint Expectorant Bromhexine HCl 4 mg + Guaifenesin 100 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Cough syrup for the relief of productive cough (with phlegm). Plus mucolytic action to help loosen and expel mucus.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 4 mg per 5 ml
• Guaifenesin 100 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Adults: 10 ml, 3 times daily. Children 6-12 years: 5 ml, 3 times daily. Children 2-6 years: 2.5 ml, 3 times daily. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects

• May cause mild gastrointestinal upset
• nausea or dizziness.
• Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to bromhexine or guaifenesin.
• Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer or asthma.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if cough persists for more than 7 days
