Indication

Antitussive syrup for the symptomatic treatment of dry, non-productive cough.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide

Direction

Children under 2 years: do not use without medical advice. Children 2-6 years: 5 ml as needed, do not exceed 1 mg/kg/day. Children 6-10 years: 5 ml every 4 hours, max 20 ml/day. Children 10-12 years: 5 ml every 4 hours, max 30 ml/day. Children 12-15 years: 10 ml every 4 hours, max 40 ml/day. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if cough persists.

Side effects

• May cause drowsiness
• nausea or constipation
• consult a doctor or pharmacist if persistent or if any irritation
• rash or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• asthma or chronic respiratory disease
• and stop if irritation or allergy develops.
