Indication

- High cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) - Prevention of cardiovascular disease - Reducing risk of stroke or heart attack - Slowing progression of atherosclerosis - Treatment of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia

Ingredients

• Rosuvastatin Calcium

Direction

Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food. The tablet should be swallowed whole at the same time each day.

Side effects

• Muscle aches (myalgia)
• Headache
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Physical weakness (asthenia)
• Dizziness

Precautions

• Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Avoid in patients with active liver disease
• Risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis
• Monitor liver enzymes before starting treatment
• Limit alcohol consumption during use
