Indication
Antihistamine syrup used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and urticaria; also used as a mild sedative and to relieve nausea.
Ingredients
- Promethazine hydrochloride
Direction
Use as directed by a physician. Adults: 10 ml at bedtime. Children: dose according to age and body weight as advised by a doctor or pharmacist. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- May cause drowsiness
- dizziness
- dry mouth or blurred vision
- do not drive or operate machinery after taking. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any irritation
- rash or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in pregnancy
- breastfeeding
- asthma or chronic respiratory disease
- and stop if irritation or allergy develops. Do not give to children under 2 years of age.
