Neo-Cough Promethazine 6.25 mg + Codeine 9 mg per 5 ml

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of dry, non-productive cough where simple cough remedies are inadequate.

Ingredients

• Promethazine hydrochloride
• Codeine phosphate

Direction

Adults: 1 tablespoon morning and evening. Children over 8 years: 1 to 2 teaspoons morning and evening. Do not exceed the recommended dose; treatment should be short.

• May cause drowsiness

• nausea or respiratory depression at high doses

Precautions

• Do not use in asthmatic cough
• respiratory insufficiency
• children under 8 years
