Indication
Children's cough syrup to help relieve cough, loosen and expel phlegm. Alcohol-free formulation for children.
Ingredients
- Guaiphenesin
- Sodium Benzoate
Direction
Children 2-6 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) every 4 hours. Children 6-12 years: 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) every 4 hours, or as directed by the physician.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated
- may cause mild nausea or drowsiness
- consult a doctor or pharmacist if persistent.
Precautions
- Shake well before use.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if cough persists more than 7 days
- is accompanied by fever
- rash or persistent headache
- and stop if irritation or allergy develops.
