Starcef 100 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, ear and uncomplicated gonorrhoea caused by susceptible organisms; third-generation oral cephalosporin.

Ingredients

• Cefixime trihydrate

Direction

Reconstitution: add 10 ml of water, shake for 30 seconds, then add 10 ml more water and shake again for 30 seconds. Shake well before each use. Dispense on medical prescription only.

• nausea or skin rash
• consult a doctor or pharmacist if persistent.

Precautions

• Shake well before use.
• On medical prescription only.
• Discard unused portion after 7 days.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins and stop if irritation or allergy develops.
