Appetine Cyproheptadine 2 mg per 5 mL

Indication

Appetite stimulant. Symptomatic treatment of various allergic manifestations such as allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, pruritus, allergic skin disorders (urticaria) and local reactions to insect bites.

Ingredients

• Cyproheptadine (in hydrochloride form) 2 mg/5 mL

Direction

Child 2 to 6 years: 5 mL, 2 to 3 times per day. Child 7 to 14 years: 10 mL, 2 to 3 times per day. Adult: 10 mL, 3 to 4 times per day.

Side effects

• Drowsiness or sedation
• Increased appetite and weight gain
• Dry mouth
• Dizziness
