Carbotoux 2% (Child) Carbocisteine 100 mg per 5 mL (2%)

Indication

Mucolytic for loose (productive) cough, increased and viscid bronchial mucus secretions and congestion of bronchial secretions during acute bronchitis and bronchopulmonary disease.

Ingredients

• Carbocisteine 100 mg/5 mL

Direction

Child under 2 years old: 2.5 mL, 1 to 2 times per day. Child 2 to 5 years old: 5 mL, twice per day. Child over 5 years old: 5 mL, 3 times per day. The treatment should not be pursued if cough persists or worsens.

Side effects

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Diarrhea
• Skin rash

Precautions
