Efferalganmed Pediatrique 30 mg/ml (90 ml oral solution, 180 doses)

Indication

Pediatric paracetamol oral solution: an analgesic and antipyretic indicated for pain (it relieves pain) and fever (it lowers fever) such as headache, flu-like states, dental pain and aches. Reserved for children of 3 to 32 kg (about birth to 12 years).

Direction

The paracetamol dose depends on the child's weight. The graduated oral syringe doser is graduated in kg; fill it according to the child's weight to give the best adapted dose. A 90 ml bottle delivers 180 doses of 15 mg/kg. Respect a minimum interval of 4 hours between two doses; do not exceed two doses per day. The solution may be taken pure or diluted in a small amount of drink (e.g. water, milk, fruit juice). Read the leaflet carefully before use.

Side effects

• Paracetamol is usually well tolerated
• skin rashes and allergic reactions occur rarely. Overdose may cause serious liver damage. Stop use and seek medical advice if any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Overdose is dangerous: exceeding the dose can destroy the liver. Do not administer with another paracetamol
• containing medicine. Respect the dose per intake and the minimum interval between intakes. Consult a doctor if the child's weight is different. Use the supplied dosing device. Keep out of reach of children.
