Indication
- Dry cough - Irritating non-productive cough - Cough-related sleep disturbance
Ingredients
- Codeine and Ethylmorphine (Codethyline)
Direction
Take orally with water. Typically 1 tablet per dose, repeated every 6 hours if needed, not exceeding 4 tablets daily.
Side effects
- Constipation
- Drowsiness
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Respiratory depression (high doses)
Precautions
- Do not consume alcohol
- May cause drowsiness/impaired driving
- Avoid in respiratory failure
- Risk of opioid dependency
- Contraindicated during breastfeeding
