Indication
- Acute and chronic bronchitis - Mucus reduction in respiratory infections - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) - Symptomatic relief of cough with phlegm
Ingredients
- Erdosteine
Direction
Take orally, usually one 300mg capsule twice or three times daily. It can be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Epigastric pain
- Alteration in taste
- Skin rash or itching
- Headache
Precautions
- Severe liver or kidney impairment
- Active peptic ulcer disease
- Hypersensitivity to sulfur groups
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding monitoring required
