Marvelon 28 Desogestrel 0.15 mg + Ethinylestradiol 0.03 mg

Indication

Combined oral contraceptive (family planning pills) for the prevention of pregnancy. Contains 21 active tablets and 7 inert tablets.

Ingredients

• Desogestrel 0.15 mg
• Ethinylestradiol 0.03 mg

Direction

Take one tablet daily at the same time each day for 28 days, then start the next pack.

Side effects

• May cause nausea
• headache
• breast tenderness
• breakthrough bleeding
• mood changes and weight change. Seek medical advice if any severe reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Use as directed by a healthcare provider. Not suitable for women with certain medical conditions such as a history of blood clots
• consult a doctor before use. Smoking while using increases cardiovascular risk.
