Indication
Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and mucous membranes, and herpes zoster (shingles).
Ingredients
- Aciclovir 400 mg
Direction
Adults: usually 400 mg taken by mouth as directed by a doctor. Complete the full course.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- headache
- or skin rash. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Prescription
- only medicine (POM). Maintain adequate fluid intake during treatment. Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment.
- Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
