Indication

Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and mucous membranes, and herpes zoster (shingles).

Ingredients

• Aciclovir 400 mg

Direction

Adults: usually 400 mg taken by mouth as directed by a doctor. Complete the full course.

Precautions

• Prescription
• only medicine (POM). Maintain adequate fluid intake during treatment. Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment.
