Diamicron MR 60 mg

Indication

Treatment of type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus in adults, when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.

Ingredients

• Gliclazide 60 mg

Direction

Modified-release scored tablets. Take by mouth once daily at breakfast, swallowed whole, as directed by a doctor. The tablet may be divided along the score line.

Side effects

• May cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
• nausea
• or skin reactions. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
• take with food and follow dietary advice. On doctor's prescription only.
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
