Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control.
Ingredients
- Sitagliptin 50 mg
- Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician or see package insert. Usually taken twice daily with meals. Swallow whole.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- diarrhoea
- abdominal discomfort
- or low blood sugar. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Risk of low blood sugar when combined with other diabetes medicines. Inform your doctor of kidney problems. On medical prescription only.
- Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
