Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control.
Ingredients
- Sitagliptin 50 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usually one tablet once daily. Swallow whole.
Side effects
- May cause headache
- upper respiratory infection
- or low blood sugar when combined with other diabetes medicines. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Inform your doctor of kidney problems before use. On medical prescription only. Risk of low blood sugar when combined with other diabetes medicines.
- Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
