Getformin 1 mg + 500 mg

Indication

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, when diet, exercise, and a single medicine do not provide adequate blood sugar control.

Ingredients

• Glimepiride 1 mg
• Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician or see package insert. Usually taken with meals. Swallow whole.

Side effects

• May cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
• nausea
• or diarrhoea. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
• take with food. Inform your doctor of kidney problems. On medical prescription only.
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
