Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, when diet, exercise, and a single medicine do not provide adequate blood sugar control.
Ingredients
- Glimepiride 1 mg
- Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician or see package insert. Usually taken with meals. Swallow whole.
Side effects
- May cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
- nausea
- or diarrhoea. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
- take with food. Inform your doctor of kidney problems. On medical prescription only.
- Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
